An Evening with Philip Stead In-Conversation with Matthew Cordell
The Book Stall is thrilled to welcome bestselling author Philip Stead to the store for a discussion with Matthew Cordell featuring his new book, A Potion, a Powder, a Little Bit of Magic: Or, Like Lightning in an Umbrella Storm. Award-winning picture book author and illustrator Philip Stead makes a confident debut as a novelist in this laugh-out-loud, one-of-a-kind illustrated tale about a plucky young goatkeeper who sets out on a misadventurous rescue mission, chock-full of running gags, broken fourth walls, and underdog triumph.
The ticket price is $20.70 and includes a copy of the book. Mr. Stead will be happy to sign his work! This book is perfect for fans of all ages 10 and up.
