Experienced and First-Time Local Storytellers
Soul of Evanston – Stories of Resilience
“Change is the only constant in life.”
– Heraclitus
Learning how to ride the winds of change and jump into the grey area is an ongoing journey that requires strength, courage and creativity. Hearing real, personal stories of others who have faced their challenges and come out stronger gives us new tools for navigating the unknown. It emboldens us!
Join us for an afternoon of local spoken word artists, poets, singers and DJ Johnny Price! Our gifted performers will share personal stories/songs about RESILIENCE. After the performance, join us for a community discourse where we can all share our unique ways of staying strong, remaining flexible and embracing a resilient mindset.
Soul of Evanston is a curated Spoken Word/Sound Experience sponsored by the City of Evanston. SOUL celebrates community expression and empowerment. Our Mission is to create a safe space where everyone can connect through the arts.
